We have made history as the first Academy in Kuwait to perform at prestigious venues such as the Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Centre (JACC), Al Yarmouk Cultural Centre, and Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre (ASCC).

Lina Bakir Music Academy organized a candlelight concert at Al-Yarmouk Cultural Center on Saturday, where children of various ages performed on the piano, accompanied by an orchestra. The event gave children an opportunity to express their talent in front of a full-house audience of parents and invitees. Lina Bakir has been teaching music for over 40 years.

Sarah Malallah: Youngest Kuwaiti to win international piano competitions

Sarah Maitham Malallah is the youngest Kuwaiti pianist to win major competitions outside Kuwait. The six-year-old girl won four competitions from Sept 2020 till Feb 2021. Sarah won first place in the following three countries, Azerbaijan at the Karabakh International Culture & Art Contest in 2020, in Kazakhstan at the II International Music Festival "Astana Stars" in 2020,

Exceptional Achievement: Kuwaiti Child Talia Saleh Wins International Piano Competition

KUWAIT CITY, May 31: Kuwait is home to numerous talented individuals of all ages and genders, constantly showcasing their creativity on various platforms. However, the extraordinary accomplishment of four-and-a-half-year-old Talia Saleh stands out as truly remarkable. Talia recently secured first place in the Art Planet International Piano Competition held in Turkey from May 12th to May 22nd. Notably, she became the youngest participant in the competition’s history to achieve this feat, surpassing nearly 300 competitors aged 6 to 13.

Lina Bakir Music Academy held candlelight concerts at Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center theater that included four performances, one on Thursday and three on Friday. The night was amazing as children as young as three let their tender fingers run over the piano keys as an orchestra played in the background.
